Hi there!
My name is Sanni and I love photographing. I live in Helsinki Finland, but I spend a lot of time all around the world. I have photographed since my father gave me his old film camera nearly 20 years ago and I haven't stop it since.
I have a degree in photography (kuva-artesaani), I graduated in 2014 and I have been a freelancer photographer since then.
I shoot everything that happens outside of a studio. I love to work with people so that's why my favourite thing to shoot is weddings. Weddings has so much emotions, happiness, tears of joy, nervous excitement, heartfelt embraces, and unforgettable moments shared with loved ones.
I love slow mornings, oversized t-shirts, fluffy dogs, forests, books, film photograph, bike rides, fresh flowers, and the scent of lilacs in early summer.
I find inspiration in quiet, everyday moments, the kind that are easy to overlook but feel unforgettable when captured honestly. Soft summer light, fresh flowers on the table, people laughing and dancing freely, music, movement and emotions all inspire the way I see and create.
A lot of my inspiration also comes from films, human connection, and the feeling of genuine moments. Creating images that feel lived in, emotional, and timeless rather than overly perfect. and capturing life exactly as it feels.
